This looks delicious. I like the addition of grapes, compared to my mom’s recipe. Her recipe calls for adding brown sugar to the dressing, which I love. Probably about 2-3 Tablespoons in the amount of dressing your recipe calls for.

I notice that a lot of recipes call for nuts, is necessary to put them into foods? I know it gives a good crunch but I am so allergic to nuts and seeds and wonder if leaving them out changes the taste? Thank you!

I made this as a side for our Easter dinner! Fabulous, and enjoyed by all! The combination of Honeycrisp and Granny Smith apples were perfect! I toasted the walnuts before adding and the toasted nuttiness flavor definitely made a difference. Delicious!

I made this for Christmas dinner and it was a hit! I’ll be making it again for Easter dinner! Delicious!!!
